Do I have to be Jewish to receive services from JFS?

All individuals and families are eligible for services, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disabilities, age, or country of origin.

How do you determine fees?

Health insurance, Medicare or Medicaid covers many services.  For those without insurance or means to pay, fees are determined on a sliding scale based on income.

Who provides your counseling services?

JFS is staffed by Licensed Clinical Social Workers.

How do I make an appointment?

Appointments can be made by calling our office at 717-233-1681 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

How does Jewish Family Service keep my confidentiality secure?

All communications with Jewish Family Service are confidential and all employees must sign confidentiality agreements.  Written records are kept in locked files.
